HVS' easy-to-install Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) Heater can improve the reliability of electrical equipment by automatically maintaining an enclosure temperature only slightly higher than the outside ambient temperature without a thermostat or controls. These economically-priced electrical cabinet heaters feature a long-life, integral circulating fan that moves warm air around the cabinet to prevent hot spots (much like a convection oven). This helps maintain even heat distribution and provides uniform condensation protection. Because the heater element operates at a relatively low temperature of 106 degrees F (compared to strip heaters), severe burns sometimes suffered by maintenance personnel can be eliminated.
